The Parliament of India is the unicameral legislature of the Indian. It is located in the Sansad Bhavan in New Delhi, the Capital of India. Members of the Lok Sabha (House of the People) or the lower house of Parliament of India are elected by being voted upon by all adult citizens of India, from a set of candidates who stand in their respective constituencies. The Parliament of India comprises 543 Members of Members of Parliament, all directly elected from single-seat constituencies. Its term is five years, unless sooner dissolved.
