g) Competent Authority to issue SC / ST / OBC Certificates (Issued more than 9000 certificates in 2016 Calendar Year till date).
h) Issue of Patta of Vested Land as approving authority.
i) To issue Domicile Certificate / Income Certificate / Residential Certificate / Character Certificate / Marital Status & Dependency Certificate (Issued more than 300 Domicile & 350 Income Certificates in 2016 Calendar Year till date).

aa) Chariman of Rogi Kalyan Samity of 5 Hospitals (Gabberia SG, South Howrah SG, TL Jaiswal, Satyabala ID, Belur SG).
bb) Responsible for implementing Yubashree Scheme at Howrah Sadar Sub – Division.
cc) Hold Hearing along with ACMOH of organ donor (kidney) in case of non related organ transplantation.

c) Meeting with Superintendent of Hospitals, ACMOH, DPHNO etc. to discuss various health issues as and when required.
d) Holding of periodical meetings of Sub – Divisional Sports Council in the capacity of Chairman of the Council.
e) Meeting of Tender Committee of ICDS Projects.
f) Meeting of Sub – Divisional Vigilance & Monitoring Committee under SC & ST (POA) Act, 1989.
g) Meeting of Sub – Divisional Committee for Environmental Clearance of mining of minor minerals.
h) Meeting of Sub – Divisional Monitoring Committee for implementation of Gitanjali.
