The Ambulance Service is provided by the Government of West Bengal Monday – Sunday, 24×7, free of cost to the needy people. Also, different private services providers are there throughout the district, providing ambulance services at a prescribed rate.
During Covid 19 pandemic, government provide its citizen with the WB-ICMS platform where all the details of both government and private service providers are listed for better coordination and easy access for the people.
The Ambulance service provider’s details are enlisted by respective district /KMC authorities. Details of both private and government ambulance providers are uploaded based on different Categories (CoVID, CoVID with oxygen, ICU ambulance, Non-CoVID ambulance) wise number of ambulances is available for public information.
