O R D E R

 

SUB ALLOTMENT OF 2nd INSTALMENT OF CENTRAL SHARE UNDER IAY 2006-2007.

 

            Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India has released the 2nd instalment of Central Share to the tune of Rs.395.560 Lakhs vide No. J-12038/1/2006-RH (A/C)/-Howrah 370/ (2nd) dated 28th Feb, 2007 under IAY 2006-2007 out of which Rs. 316.50 Lakhs and Rs. 79.125 Lakhs for new construction and upgradation of houses respectively along with Rs 6500.00 as interest are now sub allotted to the GPs for implementation of the scheme by the GPs in rural areas after observing strictly the terms and conditions of IAY Guidelines.

            The cost of construction of hut for plain areas and cost for conversion of kuccha house into pucca house/ up gradation shall be Rs. 25,000/- for NEW CONSTRUCTION and 12,500/- for UPGRADATION respectively.

1.        The Assets Register shall be maintained at the GPs level.

2.       As the following Gram Panchayat are not in a position to implement IAY Schemes right now,allotment to those GPs is now withheld for the time being

a.       Durgapur-Abhaynagar I of Bally Jagachha Panchayat Samiti

b.       Banupur-I of Sankrail Panchayat Samiti

c.       Duillya of Sankrail Panchaya Samiti

3.       Prodhan of GPs are advised to issue cheques to all IAY beneficiaries before 20th March 2007 so that all expenditure is booked, even if no fund has been received. Cheques are to be encashed after receipt of fund.

4.       In case of Problem of land in respect of any beneficiary, the next one of the list is to be selected and cheque to be issued.

5.       System of disbursing fund to double the beneficiary is to be adhered to for quick utilisation of allotted fund.
